Keiron Bone
Keiron is from Silver Springs, Maryland. He began training with Mr. Savage in
2000. He has also studied with Carolyn Goto and Zafra Miriam. Keiron became an
apprentice with SJDC in the Spring of 2002.
Tracy Chan
Tracy graduated with honors from U.C. Berkeley in May 2002. She joined SJDC as an apprentice in
January of 2003.
Selena Chau
Selena graduated
from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Animal
Sciences in May 2000. She studied ballet and jazz at California Ballet School
in San Diego. Selena joined SJDC as an apprentice in December 2000.
Alison Hurley
Alison began dancing and training in ballet in Toulouse, France, where she was born. She moved to
Berkeley in 1987, at the age of six and started studying with Zafra Miriam in the fall of
1993. Alison began studying with Mr. Savage in 1994 and joined SJDC in 1995.
Antoine Hunter
Antoine is a graduate of Oakland's Skyline High School where he began dancing
with Miss Dawn James. He ahs performed with Nuba Dance Theater and he attended
CalArts for two years. Antoine has studied with Reginald Ray-Savage and Zafra
Miriam for four years. He joined SJDC as an apprentice in the Fall of 2002.
Ethan Kirschbaum
Ethan began dancing at age 10 with Pamm Drake at Dance/10 Performing Arts and
started taking classes with Mr. Savage at age 12. At 14, Ethan enrolled in the
San Francisco Ballet School and attended their 2002 summer session. Ethan also
participated in SJDC Summer Intensives 2001 and 2003. Ethan became an
apprentice to the company in the fall of 2003.

Elizabeth Chandler
Elizabeth joined SJDC as an apprentice in 2004.
Christine Khalil
Christine began studying jazz, tap, and acrobatics at the Dance/10 Performing
Arts Center with Pamm Drake when she was eight years old. She has been a
student at the Oakland Ballet
Academy, Shan Yee-Poon Ballet, and Alameda Civic Ballet. Christine began
training with Mr. Savage at the Oakland School for the Arts where she is
currently a student. She is 2003 first place
winner of the Dance Masters of California Chapter 13. She attended the 2004
SJDC Summer Intensive, and became an apprentice to the Company in the fall of
2004.
Elizabeth Offen-Brown
Elizabeth started her formal dance training with Zafra Miriam in 1998 and
Reginald Ray-Savage in 1999. She joined SJDC as an apprentice in March
of 2000. A former competitive gymnast, Elizabeth is also a certified
gymnastics coach and judge.
Mia Aiko Yamada
Mia is a graduate of Oakland's Skyline High School where she danced with Dawn
James. She began training with Zafra Miriam and Reginald Ray-Savage at the age
of 17. She has also studied at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center. She joined SJDC as an apprentice in 2002.
